Can I use Aveeno Daily moisturizing Lotion before applying make - up?

Hey Christina,

I have an empty Aveeno Daily Moisturizer at home, and i use to use it all the time on my face before it ran out. (Lucky me that they discontinued the product.) But since my moisturizer has about the same products in which Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion contains; they both are likely to be safe. And since it is dermatologist recommended, it is actually more durable than probably the leading moisturizers. I have to be honest, i haven't tried Clinique moisturizers yet - though i know they're a more expensive and leading brand, i was very fond of my Aveeno. I actually do own a bottle of Aveeno Daily moisturizing lotion at home, though I'm not too fond of the smell (though they say there is no smell, but i can still smell something in the product) but i do use it on my arms and legs every once in a while. So to answer your question in a more simplistic way; Yes, it is fine to use Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion before applying your makeup, and it's also fine to use Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion. As long as it's something to protect your skin from dryness due to the cold wind and weather - it's great under makeup and it's fine to use.
